Shophouse Residents Figurines (SH039)

Shophouses in old Singapore were 2- or 3-storeys tall, and residents lived on the upper floors. Whenever roving hawkers came by on the streets below, residents would sometimes lower a rope tied to a basket with their crockery inside, in order to buy food. Our miniature shophouse resident figurines can be displayed in the upper storey of our shophouse model (sold separately), however the old granny is designed to be paired with the white shophouse in particular, as her hands are the correct height to be placed on the window sill.
