The chair is topped with a beautifully carved crest adorned with mother-of-pearl inlay and geometric patterns surrounding a central pierced diamond accented with turned motifs. Arabic calligraphy follows and leads the eyes to the curving slats making up the rest of the back. The wooden seat, echoing the rich décor, is resting upon an X-Form base raised on two low stretchers.
