Created in England at the Turn of the Century which saw the transition between the 19th to the 20th, this pair of Neoclassical style side chairs draws our attention with their shield-style backs adorned with mesmerizing giltwood feathers, ribbon-tied to a scrolling base. Each seat has been newly reupholstered with a double welt linen fabric whose neutral tones compliments the ensemble beautifully. The chairs showcase carved aprons and are raised on cylindrical legs in the front, accented with reeded motifs and rosettes on the knees. The hind legs are saber.
