Dual Lid Root Grapple for Tractors

Reasons it’s not a 5 star. Clips on lid pivot pins get snagged by limbs and come out. I swapped them out for cotter pins and haven’t had any further issue. The unit would benefit from some kind of debris guard at the back to keep branches from running through the grill of the tractor.That being said. I use the 66” version on a 48 hp TYM 474 with cab and use 1200lbs of ballast on the 3 point and loaded rear tires. I have been using it for a full season now and have had no issues with anything bending or showing signs of wear. It’s my favorite attachment and does an amazing amount of work in a very short amount of time. Very pleased with this attachment.
